Personal Financial Planning

A comprehensive financial plan is an essential road-map to achieving your financial goals. Typical goals include: having enough money to retire comfortably; funding a child's education; or taking a trip around the world.  We will first meet to explore your unique life goals and assess your current financial situation.

The plan includes an in-depth analysis of how your financial goals can be achieved. Different scenarios will be presented to illustrate various methods to effectively meet your goals.  A financial plan includes a Net Worth Statement, a suggested Asset Allocation, an Income Tax Analysis, a Spending Analysis, an Insurance Needs Analysis, and a review of Estate Planning issues.  You will receive specific recommendations to improve the likelihood of achieving your goals.  Once you agree to the changes, I guide you step by step in implementing the recommendations.

The fee for a comprehensive financial plan ranges between $5,000 to $10,000, depending upon the complexity of your financial situation.  A more precise estimate is provided after the initial consultation.  The financial planning engagement can be expected to last from six months to one year.  After the financial plan is in place, follow-up consultations are available at an hourly rate of up to $300.

Potential clients interested in comprehensive, holistic, financial planning may schedule a free initial consultation. One half of the estimated fee will be due upon signing the engagement letter.
